Caterpillar is the hot new product called CAT S40. As usual, it is an armored mobile phone designed for users working in difficult conditions and extreme sports enthusiasts. The new flagship meets IP68 certification, a total resistance of equipment against water and dust. Also the unit passed military test MIL-STD-810G, which had to deal with temperature extremes and thermal shock, moisture, mildew, rust, sand and vibration. He resisted everything, and therefore can be proud of this certification. Even worrying about not falling to the ground from a height of 1.8 m.
Key features:
- Rubberized body
- Tested in extreme conditions
- Super clear display
- Improved audio
- Large capacity battery
- Gorilla Glass 4
- IP68 and MIL-STS-810G
Built for extreme conditions
A new feature also appears in the form of checking water tightness. If your phone is well protected - they are such. Closed well all caps, so your phone alerts through animation that part of the phone to check and secure. Never do you not, that through open cap into your device gets wet or fine dust.
Caterpillar bet on a soft IPS screen type with a diagonal of 4.7 "and a resolution of 960 × 540 points, which ensures good visibility even from an angle to the sun. Indoor glass is Gorilla Glass 4 damage-resistant and able to take you listened with wet fingers or in winter when you are wearing gloves. This combination of properties will, therefore, ensure quality, served content and the ability to use the phone anywhere really.
Hardware not disappoint
Regarding the hardware equipment and the heart of the phone is quad-core Qualcomm MSM8909 processor clocked at 1.1 GHz, accompanied by the operating memory of 1 gigabyte This combination is a guarantee for the smooth running of the operating system Google Android 5.1 Lollipop and applications. I will be happy that the manufacturer did not intervene in the system too.
The back side is traditionally equipped with a camera and flashlight. 8MP camera lets you shoot videos in Full HD. Of course there is a front camera selfie. Internal storage of 16 GB can be expanded up to 64 GB cards microSD. Finally, you will enjoy support LTE (4G) with speeds up to 150 Mbps. Integrated battery with 3000 mAh capacity easily handles up to 18 hours of talk time and 39 days standby.
