With the 65W adapter it doesn't overheat, it has a pretty nifty cooling design compared to smaller docks. Minor shortcomings like 4K/30hz and short connection cable can be overlooked. However, the choice of ports is unfortunate. Instead of VGA there should be another USB-C or displayport.

However, I find the problem in the execution. The shape of the Mac Mini is a little impractical for a MacBook. The short and stiff cable does not allow proper handling on the table. The Ethernet plug is not well made and sometimes the contacts may not connect as they should when plugged in. But around and around, the price-performance ratio meets

The dock works as it should, but I would have ordered a USB-C extension cable for it as well, because the one that leads from the dock is very short and it was a bit more challenging to find a suitable place on the table for it. I would skip the VGA port and replace it with DP or USB-A

The Dock allowed me to connect (very elegantly) everything I needed to my Macbook.
The only drawback is the (for me) weaker wireless charging performance, it takes a long time to charge to 100%, but for continuous charging during the day it is the ideal solution.
