The board itself is great, but the iron storage area is terrible. First of all, it broke off right away, secondly, I can't put any iron in there (it doesn't fit) and thirdly, there are some weird rubber plates that I don't really believe won't melt over time. Since I needed the board, I decided to glue the board back on with a pencil sharpener (it was pretty bad) and skip the complaint. Why didn't I leave it broken if the plate is useless? Because of the cable holder (antenna) - it's a great thing if your cable doesn't get caught on anything. And unfortunately, this bracket is part of the platform. I would probably not buy the board again though, I was really disappointed by the lack of sophistication of the ironing platform.

I'm comparing it to our previous ironing board, which was not ideal, but we had it for 20 years and it worked satisfactorily. Overall, this board irons well. A little unpleasant are slightly springy edges of the board, but I guess it's more a matter of habit, we were used to a rigid metal construction with a weave. As long as the plastic doesn't break off over time, it'll probably be fine. We have not observed the benefits of the Thermo-reflect technology in practice. I would have imagined a more stable and solid frame, but with a board height of up to 90 cm, stability is sufficient. Above 90 cm it's getting shaky. The feet are a bit slippery on the parquet, could definitely be resolved better, but it's still a bit better than our previous board, so actually an improvement. I miss the height adjustment lock. The adjustment is stepped, by lifting the plate the height is adjusted one or more steps higher. This is awkward when carrying a spread board. Our previous board had a continuous adjustment with a fixed lock in position and this was definitely better. Unfortunately, I don't have a comparison with some top products, so I can't say how much better the features may be in real terms (e.g. in terms of stability and structural rigidity). But I can say that during the selection process, we also came across some significantly inferior ironing boards. So we are quite happy with the purchase in the end.
