This is one of my most favorite compact phones I have used. I really enjoy the high-quality Leica cameras, which take sharp photos with great colors. I also like the different camera modes such as Authentic, Master mode, and B&W Chrome.
The battery life is very good for a phone of this size. I get around 8.5 to 9.5 hours of screen-on time, which is excellent compared to my previous phones (S24U, Pixel 7 Pro, Oppo Find X8, iPhone 13).
The phone has a beautiful and premium design, and the compact size makes it very comfortable to use. The battery life is fantastic, and the fast charging is very impressive (100W wired / 50W wireless). The AMOLED display is stunning with great brightness and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
Performance is excellent thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The build quality is very good with IP68 protection. The stereo speakers are also clear and sound good.

The Xiaomi 17 is an excellent compact flagship phone with a premium design, a superb display, and very powerful performance. The Leica cameras give very good photo quality, and the phone feels smooth and fast in all tasks. There are only small drawbacks. The phone can get a little warm during heavy gaming, and it comes with some extra pre-installed apps. But this is not a big problem because we can easily uninstall unwanted apps and enjoy a no-ads experience. I never received any add in this phone. For me, it is really a very good buy.

The ultra-wide camera has a small aperture (17mm), but it does not affect me. I rarely use the ultra-wide camera, even on Samsung and Google phones that I used before.
If they would have included a charger in the box it would have been great.
