I bought the phone as a replacement for a 5 year old Huawei Nova 3. The main requirement was similar dimensions of the phone. About the only concern I had was the camera module protruding quite significantly from the back of the phone. If it were lower, holding the phone would be more comfortable, but again, it's nothing that's not something you can get used to. In a week of use, I especially appreciate the perfect display, fast charging, smooth running system and decent battery life. There's no point even mentioning the performance of the new Snapdragon. And one more little thing, it's not clear to me why Xiaomi can't update the forecast in the default weather widget according to the current location.

Very nice compact phone with good battery life, comfortable to hold in hand. After switching from the Asus Zenfone 9, it's larger, yet still comfortable for one-handed operation. Excellent camera, top optical zoom. Too bad the phone doesn't have a dual GSM module. It can handle two SIMs at once, but it can't be both active at the same time. SIM2 is unavailable when calling SIM1. I.e., if you have a SIM1 private number and you are making a call, SIM2 is inactive and the caller hears a message from the operator that you are unavailable, instead of seeing the call on the display. It can be solved by mutual redirection of SIM cards in case of unavailability, but then you do not know whether the missed call was made to a private number or to a company number.
