The clip is sturdy and has a great span (though not for a tablet). It's also sturdy when it comes to attaching it to a table. Yes, it wobbles a bit when you touch it, but that's logically to be expected given the length of the rigid wire (it's really long and strong) - so I'll just attach it to a surface that I have minimal chance of bumping while recording a video.
