About half the time, even a few days after release (15/09/2024), the game is unplayable because the servers are down and the game is full of bugs. The graphics look like at least a decade ago. But the rest of the game doesn't deny TDU's DNA, many of the gameplay mechanics are surprisingly unchanged from previous installments, and the driving model is surprisingly fun and similar to past installments. If the game came out in 2015 and wasn't always online, it would be pretty cool. As it stands, I'm tempted to ask for a refund.

The game is always online, but the servers are down. That is: You either don't get into the game, or progress is virtually locked, or you lose some progress. Because every race is online (I don't understand why), races for example cannot be paused. This is especially great when the game throws an error message every 30 seconds that makes you hit a wall in a race against the OP AI. X times it happened to me that due to server erroru the game will end the race in 90% of the course and you can start again.

Outdated graphics, the game still can't run at a smooth 60FPS on performance mode.

Features promised during development are missing. The studio is now announcing them as DLC content, which isn't exactly ethical behavior.

The AI behaves ectremely stupidly, but it's still overpowered, which is the worst combination.

Lots and lots of bugs. I don't understand why the game was delayed a total of about 3 years.
