After the initial connection I considered returning the product immediately because the sound produced by this device was a complete disaster, thickened bass, "throaty" mids - just a very unpleasant sound. Well, then I wondered what else I could get for those bucks for my work PC for normal background listening at work and so I finally made this "parade" to produce quite bearable audio. So for me, I recommend to immediately blind the bassreflex on the subwoofer - it will stop the catastrophic humming and rumbling. Next, set the bass and treble to zero on the controller, including the "bass boost". Then you need to run the sound through at least some equalizer: ). Personally, I've been using Linux for years and have my TCL connected to my work laptop via Bluetooth. In modern Linux, I recommend installing the Easy Effect application (originally Pulse Effect) and setting the automatic sound profile adjustment (at least equalizer, compressor and hiss remover) when connected to this miracle - then it is quite listenable even at relatively high volume. I assume there will be similar apps on other platforms.

According to the reviews, I was a little worried about how everything would pair, but all I had to do was follow the instructions. Plug into a socket, hold down the button on both speakers and then connect to the TV via BT. You can't expect great sound at this price, but it certainly sounds better than the TV itself. The only problem I had was with the placement, as it doesn't fit under the 65" TCL TV and it can't be put behind the TV because of the short cable from the infrared port (20cm), so if you have the TV on the wall, you won't have a problem.

Bought because of 5.1 movies, when the TV speakers couldn't hear the words over the music. It does that perfectly. I don't expect miracles at this price. Fine for an occasional look. Too bad the sub connects wirelessly (a cable is a cable. ). On the DO you can switch modes "movie, music, games, etc", but I didn't notice any difference in the default. Maybe it needs to be adjusted. However, you cannot tell which mode is currently active. A resolution via the diode colors would suffice (which is present, but for audio input resolution). When you turn it on, the "HDMI eARC" is quite loud, it doesn't take into account the actual volume of the TV at all, so it's always a shock. This can be turned OFF, but there is no mention of it in the instructions. ATTENTION will come and other spoken instructions (e.g. when changing modes, turning on/off DTS sounds, etc. ). You only have 3 options for editing. So to turn off/on, hold the "VOICE" button (for about 3-5s), 3 dots will appear on the soundbar, and you move the "+" "-" to the left to turn off and vice versa. A small display would be useful here to check the active input, mode, etc. (but I understand the pressure was on the price)
