why did I upgrade in the first place? I upgraded to the S26 ultra for a simple reason, I wanted the best and I got it. Samsung hasn't disappointed again and brought improved cameras with better luminosity, so shooting at night is much more interesting and the results are just great. At the same time, it has accelerated charging to 60W which I take as a big plus and thus the charging time will be much shorter. I was very pleasantly surprised by the roundness of the notes compared to previous models, which look more like the original "square" notes. The material is again aluminium, which I can totally understand - better body colour, better heat dissipation, cheaper to manufacture and I would even say more comfortable to the hand than titanium like the S24Ultra. If you have older S models, I recommend upgrading, because in addition to the aforementioned you get a "privacy" display with the ability to hide without noticeable degradation of cavity or brightness. for banks and the like works automatically after setup and it's perfect. If I go back to the camera, during shooting videos the "lock horizon" option is quite interesting, you can turn the phone 360 degrees and the video will still be horizontal. Sure you change the focus but it's still cool. Probably perfect for young people making influencer videos. Even better for some pros. I shoot a lot of video and I've seen people accidentally step into a hole during a walk and normally the video is messed up, but like this? The video is almost flawless and if you know how to edit a little, the photos and videos will be really perfect. regarding AI, I see many improvements here too, but they will come to CR later, such as voice assistants on calls and so on. The AI itself for generating images and such works great and seems to me to be a lot faster again, thanks to the improved HW of the phone. The 5000mAh battery is still the same, but the optimization is visible here. Improved endurance all day without any problems even for an undemanding user even 2 days just fine. A little minus is that S26 ultra supports Qi2 but does not have magnets in the body. I easily solved it with the original ultra-thin samsung cover, which certainly does not lose the design and on the contrary, I find the phone more futuristic I believe that everyone who bought it will be happy and I can only recommend. I will compare the S26 Ultra with the S23 Ultra from which I switched. At the first good you can see the lighter weight,26 is very light. The display is the same, but the anti-glare coating is absolutely excellent on the 26. Privacy Display is a total blast, I can have it on only when I need it and I don't have to spoil my phone with some anti-spying glass. The S Pen lost the bluetooth(that sucks), but it's there even though I don't use it as much, it's there when I need it. And for me the biggest uprgrade is the video stabilization, it's a monstrous step forward (and was already necessary). I'll sum it up, S23 Ultra owners, you don't have to change for the 26, but if you do, it's definitely a step forward for you.
