I've preferred Samsung's Galaxy S series since the Galaxy S3. I haven't encountered any problems with these phones in the time I've been using them, so I'm hoping the S26 Ultra will be the same. My last GalaxyS was a 21 and I replaced it after less than 5 years only because of poor battery capacity. Otherwise, the phone worked perfectly smoothly even after almost 5 years. The new Galaxy S26 is, of course, a different level in perhaps every respect. The phone is very fast, the camera and display top notch. After a short experience with Apple's competition, specifically the 17 Pro, I dare say that the new Galaxy is a bit better than Apple's competitor. The only unknown at the moment is how long the battery will last in any decent shape. Otherwise, apart from the very protruding camera lenses, I have no reservations about the phone.

The biggest "wow effect" for me was the 6.9" display with the Privacy Display function which prevents curious glances from the surroundings. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is a high-end phone for demanding users who want the best without compromise.
