I'm switching from an older model A52s and the difference is just huge! I am absolutely thrilled with the new Samsung Galaxy S26. It's incredibly responsive, the display is beautifully bright even out in the sun, and the camera takes incredible photos, especially in the evening and when using the zoom. In addition, I appreciate how well and compactly it fits in the hand. I am extremely satisfied, I definitely recommend it!"

I'm switching from S22. I didn't feel like it, but I don't regret it. The phone is just great. It's just that some unnecessary concessions are disappointing. Why doesn't the classic S26 have the features from Ultra (privacy display)? I don't want such a big phone, so the S26 is the only possible choice. Unfortunately, it's going to get harder and harder for Samsung to sell its non-ultra flagships to mainstream users, because the competition is a little further away. Where is the silicon-carbon battery? Where is the faster charging? Why the optics from S22 again? It's slowly wearing off on me. Why didn't I buy a Xiaomi 17? Because it's not Samsung. And I'm a Samsung fan and will defend it against iPhone users and anything else. Samsung has come a long way from the derided TouchWiz, and its current One UI is one of the best graphical superstructures of Android. In addition, it has exemplary and unrivalled software support. I'm happy. The speed and fluidity of the system is amazing. The fingerprint reader is very fast and placed in the right place - neither too far down nor too far up. I can't judge cameras objectively because everyone likes something different. I prefer natural color rendition, though it's not very insta-friendly for most people. I'm not really a photographer, so I'd settle for just two lenses like the S25 Edge has. I appreciate the larger battery capacity. I use the loud speakers only minimally, but you can immediately tell that the sound is much richer. Vibration response has also improved noticeably. I'm very curious to see if Samsung will bring any major cross-generational improvements next year. He should. But I'll still be a fan of the brand. Mostly because I used LG phones for a long time and after they were discontinued, Samsung was the best alternative.

Does not use a silicon-carbon battery
Optics from S22 again, that's very bold
Charging could have been faster

Great satisfaction, especially fits well in the pocket. The price minus discounts is pretty cool. I miss the faster charging a little bit. Maybe there could have been a more interesting colour option, but overall satisfaction

I'm switching ob generation for the second time after 2 years from S24, before that from S22. The phone is a bit bigger, but if I hadn't looked at the specs, I wouldn't have noticed. But I wouldn't mind going the other way and shrinking the body. Weight the same even with a bigger battery - hope it proves a keeper in the long run. The photos look similar, after first tests I find less grain, they are slightly darker but more detailed. Right after booting and moving all the data from the previous phone, it vibrates like clockwork, without any lags.
battery size
seamless transfer of data, applications and settings
Ultra Violet colour looks great
very protruding camera lenses

I replaced it with a Samsung Galaxy S24 8GB RAM. I chose the S26 because of its size, its compact dimensions are still within reasonable limits for me, where the phone is large enough for work but at the same time foldable with pocket size. The S26 with 12GB RAM starts fine. The camera does its job well, the pictures are nice. The phone display is of high quality. I can't evaluate the battery life yet, I have the phone for a short time.

I always replace my Samsung with a new one every year since the S7 series. It seems to me that just this year the scissors between the classic S26 and the S26 Ultra have opened up even more than ever. But even so, after initial testing of the S26, I am extremely satisfied. Sure, the HW cameras have been the same for maybe the fourth year, but still very good photos. Only 25W charging and for Europe again after some time "only" Exynos. But none of that bothers me, because even so, the Samsung S26 is a great and honest piece of hardware. Of course, more will be revealed by longer term use, but for me so far I am very satisfied.

I see the new Exynos 2600 as an advantage

I'm switching from a Samsung Galaxy S22 and you can see the difference in speed right after booting up. The phone is light and easy to hold. The design and colour combination, in my case "Sky Blue", is very elegant. The compact size of the phone, coupled with the latest chip and 12Gb of RAM, makes for a great work phone.
Ideal transition from an older version (I had the S22)
Quick
Slim and lightweight
Larger battery than previous models
Same cameras as on the S22

After two years with the S24, I decided to upgrade and I have to say that even though it doesn't seem like it at first glance, the new S26 feels much more modern in the hand. The design is precise and the phone feels great in one hand. The system is perfectly fine-tuned and the camera has come a long way, with more detail and natural colours. For me, this is a hilarious upgrade for anyone who wants a reliable and fast phone in a compact body.

A very solid phone, but on the other hand it's no revolution. The display is traditionally top notch, super bright and 6.3 inches compared to 6.2 on the S25 I personally appreciate, as well as the 300mah bigger battery. However, 4300 in base is not much in 2026 and 25W charging anyway when the competition is pumping out 100+. Classic super camera and finally APV HDR/LOG 4:2:2 lossless video recording. Stabilization is great (especially horizon lock). Despite the fact that the performance is great I'm sorry that the phone has an Exynos processor instead of Snapdragon, but I won't buy the Ultra because of that. The upgrade from the previous generation isn't worth it, but if you're upgrading from a 3 year old phone like me, it's a great option. Software-wise OK, I'm glad Samsung is reviving Bixby with Perplexity, because the previous version sucked. oneUI suits me personally.
Clear display, just the right size
Super camera
Battery smaller but lasts
UI customization
No experiments, a proven approach
Seven years of software support
Lack of fast charging
