A big upgrade for me, as I'm switching from an older Samsung M51. The phone has an elegant design. The display with 120 hZ and great brightness is beautiful. After a few hours I evaluate the cameras positively. The AI functions are in both English and Slovak, and the Circle to search function is useful. There is no charger in the package, but that's standard. The phone has slightly slower charging compared to the competition.

Design and display same as last year however, looks premium. The display is unbeatable, the Galaxy AI complements everyday functions perfectly, and the openness of Android is a nice change from iOS for me. Another plus point is the 7 years of update support, which everyone will appreciate. On the other hand, I'm disappointed that Samsung still hasn't brought a 3D facial scan like Face ID and that I don't know which AI features I'll get for free and which will be paid in the future. So it's possible that the features that I'm actually buying the phone for and are the main promotional draw in a few months won't be there unless I pay for them.

The camera offers a "Portrait" mode in which bokeh (blurred background) is simulated by a software effect. Don't use it, it's garbage. The edges around people are calculated about as accurately as if you turned on background blur in a video call.
