I switched to the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE from one of its predecessors namely the S20 FE 5G which is still serving great, but Samsung has already discontinued its Android updates and so I would not be able to take advantage of the AI from Samsung and Google. And since I've been a Samsung fan for years (S2, S4, S8, S20 FE), I reached for the latest version of its lightweight top-of-the-line version this time too. The price, AI features and also another couple of years of Android updates from Samsung played in favour of switching to the S24 FE. I had managed to read and watch a few of his reviews before buying it, so I knew what I was getting into and that's what I got. Plus, it was on sale on Alza for the same price I got the S20 FE 5G for at the end of its sales cycle. The wow effect didn't happen, but I'm not disappointed with it and hopefully it will be as durable as previous Samsung models I've used. And as the AI features improve, I hope the wow effect will come with time.
AI features from Samsung + Google
so far, the battery is holding up great, which I've gotten used to after 3 years with the S20 FE without changing the battery. We'll see where he's at in a year or two.
Technically the camera should be very similar to the S20 FE I switched from, but the better display makes the photos look better. Plus, there's a higher photo resolution of up to 50MP and a host of AI gizmos and new modes. He's also more adept at taking pictures at night.
It fits perfectly with the Spigen case, which proved itself to me with the previous model, which thanks to it I still have as new.

Tons of new features that will be fun to try out and delve into the ins and outs of the S24 FE, especially when it comes to AI.
