After my Deathadder Elite broke, I was deciding what mouse to get and since I didn't really like Razer much, I looked elsewhere. The requirement was a wireless battery-powered mouse. I chose from 3 mice (this was one of the options) and in the end, despite the fact that I have always used ergonomic mice, I reached for the popular Logitech G305. Unfortunately, after 11 months I didn't get used to the shape and due to finger cramps I had to replace the mouse and went back to the Deathadder. Mouse meets expectations, works without problems, great that I don't even have to have synapse on.
- Ergonomic shape, suitable for palm grip (typical deathadder)
- Wireless 2.4Ghz dongle included and bluetooth
- Battery operated - AAA option for less weight or AA for more life. You replace the batteries, so same battery life per charge
- The logo is not very visible - for me an advantage, the logo is very subtle, not backlit.
- Ability to set the mouse and synapse off and on and the mouse remembers the settings (I recommend synapse 3)
- Batteries included
- The battery cover is on magnets so it doesn't come off easily
- Lack of rubberization
- Bugs in razer synapse 4
- Slightly worse indication of discharge in the software when using rechargeable batteries - this is due to the fact that rechargeable batteries operate at a lower V than conventional batteries. Thus, in sw the battery may appear to be half charged if not almost dead.
