We’d already had another Rabalux light fitting with a fan. These have the same power and fan speeds; unfortunately, they’re a bit noisier at the lowest speed. But you can still sleep peacefully whilst doing it. Switching between lighting modes using the wall switch is quite well designed. It is one of the few lights that explicitly mentions remembering the last light intensity and colour after being switched off or on using the wall switch, and it works well. The light output is average (3100 lm), but it’s sufficient for a room of around 12 m². The temperature of the white light cannot be adjusted continuously, but is set in three steps – warm / daylight / cool. The intensity can be adjusted just as you’d expect. It’s a good light for the money. However, it has one rather significant fault – when switched on using the wall switch and the fan is controlled via the remote control, the light FLASHES. I don’t know who thought that was a good idea. For example, if you want to change the fan speed or switch it on or off at night with the lights off, you’ll hear a beep: -/
