I had to constantly descale my old iron even though we have soft water. If it was not descaled, limescale would fall from it when ironing. This iron basically has no buttons and supposedly descales itself into the socket, which then " dumps". But after half a year, scale started to fall from the iron, at the same time it also started leaking and made less steam than at the beginning. We are waiting for the complaint to be resolved.

Because of the birth of our daughter, we decided to start ironing again after 8 years. The washing machine and dryer have steam and hygienic programs, so the clothes are not wrinkled, but at least for the diapers for wiping the mouth we wanted to run it through the iron, the diapers are not so fluffy and fold better. A huge difference from the 13-year-old Tefalca. Automatic temperature setting, no dripping, fast ironing. Design super. The only minus for me is the chipped plastic edge on the iron's face. It almost looks like a manufacturing defect. It doesn't affect functionality, of course, but it spoils the impression of an otherwise good design. Although I am a stickler for these details, I can probably get over it with an iron and the hassle of dealing with a claim is not worth it. The main thing you need to do is iron, and this iron does that perfectly.
