I was pleasantly surprised by the product. It has great parameters for streaming. If you have an old TV, this box will turn it into a modern device that lets you enjoy popular services like Netflix, HBO Max, Disney+ and O2 TV. I haven't tried the games. The only downside is that it can't automatically switch the frame rate according to the source. For example, if you have it set to 60 Hz, NETFLIX, HBO Max and Disney+ will run great. Unfortunately, with O2TV or Sledovani TV you will register jerky movement. If you switch to 50 Hz, the picture will be perfect on these two apps, but on NETFLIX, HBO Max and the like, it will jump unpleasantly. Unfortunately, Android TV 11 can't automatically switch frame rates. Android TV 12 supposedly does, but God knows if Nokia will update Streambox to it.

My Vontar X3 left me after years, so I wanted to "invest" in something better, better quality, bought in the Czech Republic. After reading a few reviews, Nokia finally came out on top (Dune was already really expensive). It met my requirements, a couple of which included a USB3.0 port and a dig. SPDIF optical output. Well, after unpacking, it started: -( Several hours of installation due to disconnecting the box from the internet. Mostly I just got to the initial pairing of the DO, language settings and internet connection. On the rare occasion when it found an 850MB update, it would disconnect during the download. I tried resetting the device X times. It worked so halfway, because even after pressing reset the wifi remained saved. Finally after about 3hrs, when I randomly disconnected/connected the LAN cable and left the wifi saved, the update downloaded, installed. After that, it was mostly uneventful. Android TV environment fast, clear. Unfortunately, because of Android TV, I couldn't install the apps I was used to from my previous device. And I don't think Kodi, o2, etc. would be that much faster than on Vontar. A major problem was the synchronization of sound and image. Switching to RAW helped. The surround sound via SPDIF needs to be switched from AUTO to passthrough. Playing an 80GB rip via USB3.0 is fine. It was almost impossible to touch the flash drive when it was hot. Why? Because the box is completely sealed, it has no perforations for heat dissipation. Big mistake (I used to return a Tesla for this because it went to 90°C. On the other hand, the Vontar has a perforated bottom, so temperatures are 20°C lower). Internet speed over LAN fine. However, over 5GHz Wifi something around 100Mbit (the router was half a meter away from Nokia and I measured over 500Mbit on other devices). Thanks to all this and especially the problematic commissioning, I decided to return the Nokia. I ended up ordering a Vontar X4 at a third of the price.
