The pen is functional and will make children happy, but the lack of completion of Lamax products is really sad. It is a "Czech" company, but from past experience it just resells Chinese products in Czech packaging with a minimum of extra effort. The pen has instructions that don't make much sense and there are errors. Only 3 templates for creations are included, the rest you have to search random websites. Printing a paper with a template is the cheapest thing they can do, there could have been at least 10 different templates. And the inability to charge the pen with a normal charger annoyed me greatly and I consider it deceptive advertising. One of the reasons I bought the pen was the "USB-C charging" mark on the packaging. I want to have a couple of universal chargers around the apartment, which I can use to charge anything, instead of going crazy with adapters and cables for various electronics. And that's exactly how you have to do it with this 3d pen, because there's a cutout that *no regular cable* will fit into except the included USB-A -> USB-C cable. And just to be sure, there is a sticker on the cable that the charger can deliver max 5V 2A and a warning against faster chargers. So not only do you have to use only the included cable, but in addition, no universal modern chargers can be used, on the contrary, only extremely old ones for vintage mobile phones. I am highly dissatisfied with Lamax's approach.
