The problem with the evaluation of this game is that one part of the game is parasitic on the other. Therefore, I would like to take the liberty of evaluating these two entities separately. The base game is 6/10 because it absolutely cannot decide what it is. It recycles the same minibosses ten times over to the point where they're more of a nuisance because you're just tired. All bosses have at least two or three stages, so it's already very overused. Lots of cool ideas, but not much to work with. Treasure road is a little better, but even that has its flaws, as the challenge mode is very easy to the point where I've mostly played them on the first playthrough and the target times do nothing but give a few coins that aren't worth the effort. The DLC is an 8/10 and that's only because it's just mega expensive and welcomes you for one weekend or one long game night. It's averaged 7/10, so I give it four stars.

DLC brilliant, I enjoyed all the levels.

Nice graphics, soundtrack does not offend

Excellent for the bus

Uninteresting for two players, because there is a large crowd of levels where your Co-op can literally do nothing but e.g. to collect coins. Whoever plays as Kirby will objectively enjoy the game many times more than whoever plays as Waddle Dee.

The base game is a mediocre platformer, it has a lot of fun ideas but does almost nothing with them.

The DLC content is overkill for the $20 price of the upgrade pack, as it's about three hours of gameplay.
