I will be 100% honest as a sort of audiophile. I return to use Havit TW967BU, it's just one of the cheapest bluetooth earphone and giving 80% performance of this JBL earphone. They have 10x price difference. This JBL doesn't give it's price range quality. Sounds is so/so, microphone is really bad. You can get those functionalities from another half priced or 1/3 priced device. After those many years of JBL experience they should be able to do more in this price range.

For a long time I was choosing headphones for work, where it is necessary to have them because of the noise of the CNC machine I work on. I was pleasantly surprised how the headphones muffle a very noisy machine when listening to music, sometimes I can't even hear the machine running. I have small ears, so it happened a couple of times that I had to take my headphones off for a while because of the pain, it's a matter of habit as I never owned earbuds. I recommend an app where you can set both the headphone controls and play around with the equalizer. You only turn on Ambient Sound Control (ASC) when you want to talk to someone to hear them better. At higher noise levels, when you have the ASC on, the headphones try to somehow dampen the side from which the noise is coming. I'd liken it to having your ear plugged, so it might be a little uncomfortable. Overall, I am very happy with the headphones and I recommend them.
