I upgraded after 6-7 years from an old Huawei p20 pro which worked perfectly after those x years, no choppiness etc, but I was getting annoyed that my battery didn't last much 😅. User interface identical. The first day I was a bit stressed because my phone was, I would say, quite slow, probably because of all the installations and updates, but now, after a few days, I don't notice it anymore.
Despite its size it is not heavy, it is easy to hold (and I don't have big hands 😀)

Good sound, it seems to me that what I had on the old phone at 90%, I have here at about 40% of the volume (meaning mainly the volume when I have blth headphones on)
I haven't tried the night photos yet, but otherwise nice during the day. Front camera for selfies ok too.
I like the gestures for ease, like I can for example read and scroll the pages remotely with my hand without touching the screen (great for lunch 😅) or that the screen doesn't turn off when I'm peeking (reading something) but not clicking.

The battery seems fine to me, but still, I charge it every night. I'm not saying she's bad, no. I'm glad I get home with a charged phone in the evening 😀 I use my phone a lot during the work day (and not for work 😅). At 6 in the morning I have 100% and in the evening at 11 maybe 30%. Of course there's listening to spotify, videos, socks, half the day I drive through data, to that on the way to/from work blth headphones. During the weekend, when I don't use my phone, I have 100% on Saturday morning and 45% on Sunday afternoon.
Sometimes I feel like the display doesn't respond to touch and I have to sort of press my finger down hard, but that may just be a matter of habit. Also, I don't always manage to open with my fingerprint the first time (this worked much better on my old huawei)
Some gestures take a bit of grip and finding the right "move" if you are not used to them.
There could be more design options on the market, as there are in Asia.
