I do not recommend buying this product. Out of the box, the scanner is completely discharged. I tried for a long time to recharge it using the included USB cable and external USB charger, but the base only flashed for a moment and then went out again. Only after some more tinkering did I find out that the charging only activates when the USB is connected to the computer, which I consider a perversion, especially since it is a Bluetooth device and I don't want to use cables with the computer at all. There's not even a basic user guide in the package to inform you of the pitfalls of charging. By the way, the rechargeable connector is present on the dock, but it is made so that most connectors can not be inserted into it and especially the polarity of the connector is reversed compared to the normal standard, so it is necessary to buy the original for another 1000 CZK.
Another surprise came when I found out that the announced Bluetooth communication is not quite true. The scanner communicates with the computer only through the base, which defeats the purpose for which I bought the scanner, i.e. no cables and true bluetooth support.
I consider Honeywell to be a quality brand (we use multiple scanners from them), but this model was designed by a dilettante. If you don't need any specific settings via EZConfig, you should choose another product.

For some reason unknown to me, the sensor does not charge from an external USB 5V 1A source, nor does it charge from an external USB hub. It only charges when connected to a computer.
It is not possible to connect an external source from the manufacturer, because although there is a place for a power connector in the docking station, it is not fitted.
