The dji osmo mobile 8 stabilizer is made of quite strong and durable plastics, the handle is comfortable in the hand, and the controls are light and handy. The gimbal fits comfortably in your pocket and the jaws into which the mobile is inserted hold well and the gimbal is attached to the magnet which holds very firmly. The selfie stick which is about 21.5 cm long is also a pleasure. Gimbal can handle the Samsung S 23 Ultra even with the Nillkin Super Frosted PRO packaging which is a total of 277g, but I use it without the packaging because the mobile fits better in the jaws. The multifunctional trekking module has a light that has several light intensities and color temperatures and a microphone receiver, so you only need to buy a separate DJI Mic Mini, but the module must be connected to the mobile phone with a cable that is included in the gimbal package. The microphone can also be connected directly via Bluetooth to the mobile phone, but the sound quality is not as good as when the module is connected to the mobile phone. The integrated tripod tripod isn't very stable, it's a tax on being able to retract into the handle, I solved it with the Insta360 All purpose Tripod. The DJI Outside app forces the location on, without location the app only goes to the main menu to launch the app, but it won't let you into the camera environment, only when you turn on location does the camera environment launch in the app. The DJI Outside app drains the phone pretty quickly, even without trekking turned on. Fortunately, the gimbal can also be used comfortably with the native app on your mobile phone which is what I do.

The DJI setup with the multi-function module and cable is really user-unfriendly, especially for simple vlogs where you want to shoot quickly without complications and complicated setup or buying additional accessories. The cable is only necessary because the multi-function module sends audio from the DJI Mic 3 to the phone via a physical connection (Bluetooth is not sufficient for quality low-latency audio), but it can be bypassed by recording audio separately (internally to the mic or directly to the app) and syncing in post-production = additional demands on the user. If you want to use the module without a cable, unfortunately you can't - it's a design flaw of DJI
