I tried both the wifi version and the matter version and this one won. The initial setup needs to be done directly on the thermostat (the app is simpler than the wifi version), but then everything is handled by a central unit (in my case Home Assistant) and it works great - time programs, presence detection, correction to another sensor, history tracking... all this Dog Matter runs without problems. If someone wants to control one or two thermostats, a wifi version without a control panel may be preferable. In my case (10 units in the house), on the other hand, the simple thermostat, and the smartness of the solution in the control panel, is an advantage. Too bad the instructions are too simple - e.g. it was necessary to find out which parameter is used to set the switch-off temperature of the additional floor sensor experimentally. But overall satisfaction.

Even if you get it into the mobile app (and I've tried both their Avatto and Smart Home and the Home Kit), you can't set anything there except for the custom temperature and mode, and you have to go to the box and do it manually. For undemanding users, of course, fine. There's also the rather strange addition to Matter where you have to have a separate cover in order to read the QR code. But like I said, for the casual user, it's probably fine. I'll return it.
