Instant emergency (turns on and off in seconds)

brightness (considering the dimensions 800 lm is not the worst light output, of course the room must be darkened with blinds. )

good resolution and good colour rendering

battery life (almost 2 hours with reduced sv. flux 500 lm)

compactness and miniature size (fits in a woman's handbag)

built-in media player with speaker

USER UNFRIENDLY control (the designer was perhaps not even a human being! ) The remote is very "cheap", unnecessarily small and impossible to navigate in the dark, the multi-function buttons - each time they have a different function - horror!

the built-in player is only very simple, it can't play ISO files or VOBs (even though the manual declares that it can play VOBs! ) Power point - only displays slides - can't do animations, word, excel just simply displays - it's actually pretty crappy

The player menu is unwieldy, a mouse would be handy - and a normal standard windovs browser.

Interestingly, if the device runs on battery power, the light output is reduced and cannot be set to full 800 lm, nor can the colour balance be adjusted when running on battery power

the price/performance ratio is not ideal (half the price would be adequate)

lens cap - it is too warm, it is just too heavy - perhaps a hinged system would be better

power adapter - could have been built into the unit, the power cord is for some unfathomable reason a 3-wire with a massive fork (suitable for 3.5 kW! ) Almost half the box is taken up by these massive mains plugs (3pcs for different extremes) so you can throw 2 in the bin straight away.

Contrast ratio - black is not completely black

When playing video files, it is practically impossible to move around the timeline - it jumps to the beginning or to the end...
