die achte Generation der Pixel-Telefone gekrönt hat, können wir uns nur noch auf die brandneue, kommende Google Pixel 9-Serie freuen. Wenn Google an der Tradition festhält, werden wir die Telefone im Herbst sehen. Allerdings sind bereits einige glaubwürdige Leaks im Internet aufgetaucht, die vor allem das Aussehen der neuen Telefone zeigen. Wie werden die neuen Handys aussehen? Und worüber wird sonst noch im Zusammenhang mit der Google Pixel 9-Serie spekuliert?

Die Google Pixel 9-Serie wird drei Modelle umfassen
Für den derzeit wohl größten Leak ist der Internetaccount @OnLeaks in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Portal www.91mobiles.com verantwortlich. Dieser Leaker hat sich in der Vergangenheit mit einer Reihe präziser Leaks bewährt, daher ist es sehr wahrscheinlich, dass die Aufstellung und das geleakte Aussehen der Telefone endgültig sind. Die anfängliche Flaggschiff-Serie sollte drei Modelle umfassen:
Google Pixel 9
Google Pixel 9 Pro
Google Pixel 9 Pro XL
Die Serie wird somit um ein neues XL-Spitzenmodell bereichert, das die gleichen (oder sehr ähnliche) Parameter wie das Google Pixel 9 Pro haben soll, jedoch über ein größeres Gehäuse verfügt. Weitere Modelle nennt der Leak noch nicht, man kann aber davon ausgehen, dass irgendwann im Frühjahr 2025 auch das Modell Google Pixel 9a eintreffen wird.

Der erste visuelle Leak (ebenfalls vom @OnLeaks-Account) betrifft das Design des Basismodells des Google Pixel 9. Hier sehen wir die völlig neue Bildsprache von Pixel. Das ikonische Fotomodul über die gesamte Breite der Rückseite ist verschwunden und wurde durch ein neues, ovales und höchstwahrscheinlich wieder aus Metall gefertigtes Fotomodul ersetzt. An dem Display hat sich nicht viel geändert und laut Leak sollte es sich um ein 120Hz OLED-Panel mit einer Diagonale von 6,03 Zoll handeln.

Nach dem Vorbild aktueller Handy-Trends hat der Hersteller auch die Ränder der Handys abgeschnitten. Statt abgerundeter Kanten erhalten die Pixel-9-Handys nun flache Kanten aus geschliffenem Metall. Der Leak des höheren Modells, des Google Pixel 9 Pro, sieht sehr ähnlich aus. Allerdings beherbergt sein Fotomodul drei Kameras – den Bildern zufolge wird das Pixel 9 Pro mit einem periskopischen Teleobjektiv ausgestattet sein – sowie einem Temperatursensor. Das Google Pixel 9 Pro soll über ein etwas größeres 6,1-Zoll-Panel verfügen. Das Modell Google Pixel 9 Pro XL soll dann genau gleich aussehen, nur größer mit einer Diagonale von 6,5 Zoll.

Wann wird die neue Google Pixel 9-Serie angekündigt?
Google hat das Google Pixel 8a als endgültiges Ende der achten Serie erst kürzlich angekündigt. Es wird mit der Veröffentlichung von Google Pixel 9 höchstwahrscheinlich keine Eile geben. Wenn die Marke weiterhin an ihren Veröffentlichungsterminen festhält, werden wir die Google Pixel 9-Serie irgendwann im Oktober 2024 offiziell sehen. Bis dahin werden wir den Artikel bei weiteren Leaks aktualisieren.
