DSLR Cameras

SLR cameras are among the most advanced photographic equipment. They are especially suitable for advanced amateurs and professionals who place high demands on image quality. SLRs use an optical viewfinder that captures the image reflected from the lens. As a result, the scene you get in the viewfinder is without distortion.

One of the main advantages of these cameras is their modularity. You can choose the most suitable lens, flash, and other accessories for each individual scene. Furthermore, SLRs allow you to use a manual mode, in which you can set the shutter speed, aperture, and sensitivity.

DSLRs, i.e. Digital Single Lens Reflex cameras, are great for enthusiastic amateurs and demanding photographers. Compared with compact cameras, they offer many advanced options for manual settings. Moreover, they give you the possibility to swap between lenses according to your requirements and preferences.

How do digital SLR cameras work?

Digital SLRs use a swinging mirror, located in front of an image sensor (usually CMOS or CCD). It reflects the light that passes through the lens directly into the optical viewfinder. In the viewfinder, you can actually see the scene in the same quality as the final photograph. When you press the shutter, the mirror swings upwards and exposes the image sensor, which then records the scene. Modern digital cameras are usually equipped with an LCD screen that supports Live View features.

DSLR Cameras

Digital SLR cameras enable you to take photographs of the highest quality. They are suitable for enthusiastic amateur and professional photographers. DSLR stands for Digital Single Lens Reflex and is usually used when referring to digital SLRs.

Digital SLRs work with a mirror positioned in front of a sensor chip (mostly type CMOS or CCD). It reflects the light that passes through the lens directly into the optical viewfinder. The quality of image in the viewfinder will equal the quality of the resulting image. When you press the shutter, the mirror tilts as light passes to the sensor chip. Modern digital SLR cameras are also equipped with an LCD display with a live view function.

Compared to compact digital cameras, digital SLRs offer many options and manual settings for advanced photography. Digital SLR cameras come with a wide range of accessories, such as lenses and tripods. Thanks to their advanced settings and technical characteristics, they are ideal for capturing high-quality images, including sports, architecture and night photography.
