Headless Mode is a flight mode that simplifies drone control because its steering is not dependent on the orientation of its front part. In standard control, the drone flies forward in the direction its 'nose' is pointing. However, if the drone turns 180 degrees in the air, moving the stick forward would send it back towards the pilot, which can be confusing. In Headless Mode, directional commands are always relative to the pilot's position. This means that when the pilot moves the stick forward, the drone will always fly away from them, and when they move the stick left, it will always fly left from the pilot's perspective, regardless of which way the drone is currently facing. This feature is especially useful for beginner pilots who are learning basic maneuvers and have not yet mastered tracking the drone's orientation.
