So after a month of use, I already know that discounted stuff is often not so great. On the positive side: - He knows how to avoid small obstacles, if there is a piece of clothing on the floor he will examine it and go around it and in most cases he doesn't get tangled in it unlike his dumber friends. - It mops beautifully and you can set the mop to wash quite frequently, so the water it mops is clean most of the time. - It requires minimal service, occasionally pouring out dirty water and pouring in clean water and washing the wash mound. And now the negatives: - The main negative: He's driving completely unsystematically. The older model without a camera that we have been using for a long time always goes precisely around the entire perimeter of the room and then vacuums the entire area by traversing. This one acts like a kid with ADHD, he mops one spot for a while, then he notices he's already crossed over to the carpet, so he starts vacuuming the carpet, then he goes back to the station to wash his mops, then he mops and vacuums another part of the room again, he gets lost a few times and goes to the same spot to clean, and sometimes he starts vacuuming a different room than he was set to. While everything can be seen plotted on the map and you can watch live as he drives around the map in confusion, so it is certain that he knows very well where he is. Unfortunately, the firmware is apparently completely untested and is now being patched remotely. Occasionally an update will come, but usually it doesn't help much. I may have to project subway surfers on the floor to keep his attention. - On the high carpet it is even worse, he spins around as if he is crossing the thresholds, and yet he just can't get through the carpet and it would take more effort. - Can't view the camera image, unfortunately it's a "cheap" version of the vacuum cleaner with a camera, so the footage from the front camera can be accessed maybe by a Chinese person, but not by the owner. - The battery charge can only be monitored via a small icon in the app that displays 0,25,50,75,100%, but higher resolutions are impossible to detect, so you can't even guess whether or not it will be able to vacuum a given area without having to take a break. Summary: Quite a smart and independent vacuum cleaner and mop, unfortunately with ADHD. Not suitable for high carpets.
