From my own experience, I can say that the Xiaomi Redmi Note Pro 5G is a bright and powerful phone, and the price can even be compared to the higher series of Xiaomi phones. I don't recommend this phone to people who want to have control over their device and determine what it will or won't do. You "get" a lot of junk apps from the manufacturer, but most of them you are able/allowed to uninstall. But what is much worse for me is the surprise from Xiaomi in the form of ads directly in the system applications. For example, do you want to open a file manager? So I hope you don't mind waiting 2-3 seconds before you can skip the ad. For me, this is a real shame, because the phone with its parameters is otherwise very tempting at this price. While there are instructions on the Internet on how to remove or at least limit ads, in my opinion, the user should not do anything like that! (not to mention that future updates may render these methods inoperable and the situation may get worse over time).

The phone arrived very quickly. I'm switching from the POCO X3 Pro and the difference in photos from the main sensor is huge for me - it's a leap in the day and literally a world apart at night. The new processor and software do quite wonders with the post-processing, when I compare how the photo looks in the preview and then what the final result is. The 8Mpx ultra-wide-angle sensor is rather average, but it's not offensive and it's handy to have on hand. Another big leap was the display, the transition from the 120Hz IPS panel is immediately noticeable. The only minor drawback I see is when using it at night, when the display fails to darken as much as I would like, but it's not a big deal. Performance-wise, the phone is fully sufficient for me, although it's a shame to use UFS 2.2, which is slightly slower storage than I had with the old model. In fact, I don't notice any difference in normal use. The battery is great and lasts a lot, although with my workload it wouldn't last two whole days. Unfortunately there is no adapter in the package anymore, so I use my old 33W. Charging speed seems to me even with an older piece sufficient, I do not enjoy extremely fast charging. Probably the biggest weakness is the system, which is full of ads (especially on Temu) and unnecessary pre-installed applications. Everything can be switched off or uninstalled, but it's annoying. On the other hand, I understand that thanks to these ads, Xiaomi can offer better hardware at a lower price. Overall, it is a very good phone in its price range and I don't regret the purchase.
