For emails, basic document editing and field work, it's a great device that can take the place of a laptop with an additional keyboard and pen - depending on what applications one needs, of course. However, today it is not a problem to use most important applications cross-platform. For me, I can only recommend the tablet and generally praise the Xiaomi brand, with which I have personal experience of many different devices and which has not disappointed me personally so far.
