good value for money
Whatever I do, the phone automatically resizes all images to the lowest possible resolution whilst maintaining their dimensions, so they often look like 720p images rather than 4K ones. Because of this, I’m seriously considering returning the phone

After using the Xiaomi 17T for a while, I’ve really come to love it, and I have to say that, overall, it’s a brilliant device. It’s the perfect size, fits brilliantly in your hand, doesn’t feel like a giant paddle, and is therefore comfortable to handle. I also like its overall exterior design, which gives a very elegant and premium impression. I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the camera, which takes beautifully sharp photos with vibrant colours even in low light – see the attachment – and I was absolutely blown away by the ability to record dual videos, which is a brilliant feature when you want to capture both the scene and your own reaction at the same time. Overall, the phone performs incredibly well and everything runs beautifully smoothly without any lag, thanks in part to the battery’s excellent life, so as far as I’m concerned, it’s a superbly balanced mobile that offers great value for money.

I’ve had it for a week now and so far it’s been working absolutely brilliantly – and if you’re thinking of buying one, make the most of the discount while you still can.

I bought a mobile phone on 14 June 2026, when Alza was offering a tablet as a free gift. Just as I received the phone, the event was suddenly cancelled. I'll take that as a scam.
