The decision not to switch from the Galaxy S23 to the Galaxy S26, but to the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, was the right one. Great to hold, looks good, lasts a long time charged, charges quickly, takes great photos, excellent sound, much more settings than I have with Samsung, photomodule does not interfere, rather the opposite, I can lean on it.
Very powerful chipset.
Great camera
Large battery
Fast charging
Excellent sound
The supplied cover is not much
Lots of "rattling" camera lenses
Obsolete cable in the package
Price
Lack of a full-fledged macro

Xiaomi 17 Ultra really impressed me after switching from Honor Magic V5. I've used both the Oppo Find X9 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra before, but it was this phone that got me the most with its camera. The photos are beautifully sharp, have great color and handle even low light well. Of all the phones I have had, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is clearly the best.
Camera
Battery life (I watch TV shows, so almost no phone lasts a full charge - I only charge it once a day)
System speed and fluidity
Good speakers
Ads in Mi apps, but they can usually be turned off - for example, in the music app they can be turned off completely, which is very important to me

I'm switching from the Xiaomi 13T and the difference is huge. The display has great resolution. The photos are perfect, incredible difference. That was one reason for the purchase, a quality camera. I must also highlight the battery life and its fast charging. The phone is not heavy, it has a beautiful design. Sound when playing audio awesome. I'm very satisfied.

The phone is beautifully crafted, has beautiful flat sides and looks really beautiful in the Starlit Green version. Everything works absolutely smoothly and the photos are absolutely fabulous. These are my first observations and feelings, but I will test everything more as time goes on.
Quality workmanship
Absolutely top-notch camera
Beautiful vivid colours
HyperOS 3
Bigger photomodule, but that's unfortunately the price for a photomobile of this level

After switching from Xiaomi 15 need to get used to the larger size(it's fallen😁), but otherwise all Ok, a great phone with a gorgeous display, a great camera and a fast response. Unfortunately there is no adapter in the package and a really cheap cover is included.

As always, Xiaomi never ceases to surprise me. The phone is awesome. It's great to hold and even the large camera on the back doesn't get in the way. The photos from it are beautiful. Especially the night ones there Xiaomi and Leica have now done a top job. And I skipped that from the Xiaomi 15T pro. For me, I can only recommend it.

A flat and larger display.
Intergenerational battery capacity increase.
The cameras are amazing.
I'm glad the manufacturer put plastic backs on. The phone is lightweight and it doesn't degrade it in any way.
HyperOS is getting better, but the truth is that iOS or OneUI are still more enjoyable to use.
Connecting with Apple products.
Fast charging.
Very powerful Hardware.
The gallery app is great for editing photos.
The side buttons, modeled after the old iPhone 4, I love.
The biggest minus I see in the launch events and "gifts", which are included in the price anyway and after the end of the events the price of the phone drops just by the price of the gifts offered( at least that's how it was last year and the year before). I really don't need a coffee machine or access to the VIP lounge or a useless photo kit, which I only put on once and then I won't use it again, just like with Viva.
Xiaomi's photo rendering may not suit everyone, it's more of an artistic, flat style with an emphasis on natural colours. The Viva style will suit most people better. Don't get me wrong, those photos are top, I'm talking purely about style.

I've been using the Xiaomi 17 Ultra for two weeks now and I'm still enjoying it. Starlit Green looks fantastic in person and the phone retains a premium feel. The display is top notch, the speed is flawless and the Leica cameras surprise me with their quality. The battery lasts all day even with heavy use. So far maximum satisfaction.

I've only had the phone for a while, but after trying it out I have to say that it's the best Xiaomi I've ever had so far, the previous one I had was the Redmi Note 13 and this one is a huge leap in terms of camera and system fluidity. The cooperation with Leica has been a great success, taking pictures with this phone is really an experience. Top photocar of 2026.
