Excellent true wireless headphones in virtually all aspects, although I understand the negative reviews here. The whole thing stands and falls on how it fits in your ears (which takes a few seconds for the foam to warm up and soften, and the size, which is different for each ear), the isolation from the environment is often incredible. With the music at a very reasonable level (~65 dB), you often hear nothing at all, with the exceptions of a siren or a screaming child, which are still significantly muffled. I have no complaints about the sound, it is clear and adjustable at will in the app. I got used to the controls, including four- and multi-click, quickly and the error rate is surprisingly low. So my only criticism is the battery life of the box, which from the beginning recharges the headphones fully 1.25 times rather than 2x, as it should.

I bought the Sony WF-1000XM5 as soon as they were available in the Czech Republic. The initial problem was with the original earpieces - they didn't fit and the headphones didn't stay in my ears at all. After several attempts, I found replacement earbuds that at least have a bit of a seal and hold. The headphone app is a big disappointment for me. It often changes the interface and looks cluttered. With each update they add new features, but stability tends to deteriorate. After the last update, headphones often fail to connect properly, so some settings, such as auto-stop playback when you speak, cannot be activated without constant factory reset and re-pairing. I consider this to be a big disadvantage because these settings can only be changed via the app. The headphones also often fall out of my ears, which is especially annoying when moving around. Plus, the app tracks what you listen to and collects data about you, which I find unacceptable. After more than 2600 hours of use, I wouldn't buy them again - the positive features can't outweigh these fundamental flaws.

I bought my headphones back in the dark days of floating starry white dust, when I was a loyal sheep in the amazing Apple "ecosystem" and owned, among other things, an iPhone. As it happens, anything that didn't have the bitten apple logo on it tended to malfunction in cooperation with eply products. With my then iPhone 15 Pro, the sound from these headphones kept dropping out, even when I had the phone practically under my nose in my breast pocket. On the other hand, when I was sitting still, they didn't play all that badly, despite that one. Uh-huh. an amazingly advanced codec. what's his name? Yeah, AAC, I think. Compared to my then-crazy AirPods Pro, the sound was on a completely different planet, so I didn't really complain too much. I was a relatively happy man, trapped in a golden cage. But then came D-Day! I've decided to leave the wonderful, innovative and absolutely flawless world of Apple. And you know what? It was my best decision as far as electronics were concerned. Today? My headphones work beautifully and without a single hiccup on my current Google "scrap". And the sound! With full support for all possible codecs incl. LDAC (yes, there are other than AAC, imagine! ) I can't praise him enough. Who knew openness and compatibility could be so fine, right?

The shape of the ears will matter a lot for the pips, but for me a total disappointment. I've had enough headphones pass through my hands in my life, so I don't think I have anything to compare them to. With any size of earbuds, these headphones do not fit properly in the ear. Either they're free or they're not going in. I can't imagine trying to walk or run with them anywhere. The earbuds are a weird scratchy material that makes my ears burn. When I tried to sanitize them, I found that ordinary alcohol dissolves them, so they are practically impossible to sanitize. I have an ancient Koss stovepipe that also used sealing foam, it worked well there. The sound seems to me to be worse than the 5x cheaper WH-CH720 or the historical Koss or Sennheiser pcs priced around 1000kč. I can't hear any detail in the music, the headphones produce noticeable noise, probably from the ANC. ANC on is virtually unnoticeable from pure passive attenuation. I'm sure it works somehow, I've tried switching anc/ambient/off but the differences are minimal, probably like turning down 6db of bass on the EQ. I found a measurement that states 40db attenuation, this should mean subjectively 16x attenuation. Given the reviews that promised basically the top product on the market and given the high price, this is a total disappointment for me.
