I bought the reader as a gift for a non-technical person and I can't imagine how someone like that would handle it on their own. I didn't understand why the initial setup is only in English when the reader can be switched to English after completion, but so be it. But then when I wanted to create an account to use Send to PocketBook (a copy of Send to Kindle) to send books to the reader, it was a complete disaster. You're probably thinking "Oh my, this is written by some shovel who can't even use a smart phone", but that's definitely not the case. Even a degree in computer science didn't help me and it took me 2 hours to register an account, when I almost threw the reader out the window. The account registration in the reader threw an error that the passwords in the form didn't match even though there was only one box to enter the password. After several attempts of starting from scratch, I realized that this is not the way to go and downloaded the Android app. There, every time I tried to complete the registration, I got an error "Connection error" even though the internet was working. Okay, so I downloaded the iOS app and found that the email address was already registered, so it probably went through. But when I tried to log in, I got "Connection error" 80% of the time, and when it passed, I got another error "No such entity with %fieldName = %fieldValue". At this point, I gave up. Later I tried again and managed to create a different type of account in the reader via Apps -> Send to PocketBook (not PocketBook Cloud as before), which is only for sending books to the reader, which was enough. I absolutely don't understand how they can put such software into production. They get fired for this on school projects, too. Better buy a Kindle and learn a few English words. For reading your books, you will no longer care that the reader is in English.
