if you are not a fan of competetive or hardcore pvp games then you will be alright. But if you know you will play games like CS, tarkov, valorant then avoid these at all cost.
great for casual use like casual gaming and watching videos/movies
generally good audio quality
terrible for gaming. if you are going to play some hardcore shooter where you need to pay attention to audio like gunshots/footsteps these are not for you.
aside from left/right it is imposible to tell exact direction. if enemy is either on your second Hour or fifth Hour you only know that he is on your right nothing more

More comfortable than the Cloud II.
Solid construction
Connection variability
Awful sound for gaming. For competitive games where sound is one of the most important aspects (footsteps, interactions, gunshot sounds), this headset is a bad choice.
Shorter mic than the Cloud II
Even their app doesn't help fix the sound.

I don't know what to write. I'm just enjoying a much higher quality listening experience with the headphones than without them.
Excellent for listening to music and spoken word (I don't use them for games) from both my laptop and phone.
microphone works fine
The ambient noise isn't particularly well dampened when listening.

Unfortunately, the online reviews weren't lying. I thought the criticism was exaggerated, but it's not. Don't be fooled by the fact that it's a HyperX product and is in the TOP 10 on Alza. After more than 10,000 hours of gaming, I know what to demand from gaming audio. For any kind of serious gaming, they are absolutely useless. If you're not just playing for fun and you care about winning, give these a wide berth.
Sufficient for an enjoyable music experience.
Comfortable design.
The microphone is sufficient for general communication, for example on Discord.
Absolutely inadequate for playing any FPS games.
The sound in games is like it's coming from inside a tin can, extremely muffled. Trying different tried-and-tested sound profiles in various equalisers didn't help. It can't be saved with software.
A huge step backwards compared to the Cloud II. The Cloud III is no longer based on the original HyperX (Kingston) architecture because HP has taken over development.
You can't hear detailed high tones. It's impossible to tell if there's one or two players running behind you, only that someone is there.
Subtle sounds in the distance (footsteps, reloading, pulling out a grenade) all blend together.
