I have been highly critical of ASUS products over the last two years but I have to commend these headphones. I use them both in connection with a PC via usb-dongle and in BT connection with a mobile phone and so far (after about half a year of use) without the slightest problems. Maybe the control to turn on the headphones could have been more pronounced but that's more of a marginal issue.

I didn't have time to test the headphones properly because the wifi dongle is of horrendous quality and intercepts all other devices in the vicinity. I bought the headset primarily for the PS5 and after all the reviews online I was expecting it to be a blast. It wasn't. The sound is sufficient, in the game I recognized all sounds clearly. Unfortunately, the constant crackling, whistling and audio dropouts forced me to return the headphones. I gave them one more try and bypassed the second one, I took a USB extension cable to separate the dongle from the router, which is already in the next room, and the result was completely zero. Same problem as with the first headphones. I ended up picking up the HyperX Cloud III Wireless and it is something else entirely. HyperX don't have Bluetooth, but I don't mind that, so they sound great, without any dropouts or other distractions. I've been on battery power all week and it's reporting 70%. Plus, these Pelts look pretty cheap compared to the Cloud III. I can't recommend Asus Pelta and you'd better look elsewhere.

I purchased the Pelty as a replacement for the Steelseries Arctis 7 (2019) which at the time of purchase cost the same as the Pelty, i.e. 3k and I have to say I have no regrets. The design is similar, but the Pelts are more comfortable, and fit better on the ears and head. They have bigger transducers and much better sound, microphone and equalizer. They're great for both music and games, where I can now really tell where the sound is coming from. That's really cool. The problem is only if you have the handset transmitter close to the wifi router. There is heavy interference and blackouts, beware.
