I used to own a Kaiser 3 and recently upgraded to a Kaiser 4. In almost every way - whether it's sturdiness, comfort, or customization options - it's a step up. Unfortunately, the armrests, which are very massive and especially too far forward, make the chair unusable for me. The armrests can't be lowered low enough and the rearward movement is minimal, so when I try to push more into the table, I bump into it with the armrests and if you want to slide under the table and just rock slightly, forget it, you bump into the table with the armrests from underneath. A shame, otherwise a well made chair, but even considering the high price tag a big disappointment for me and I regret not assembling it immediately after purchase, otherwise I would have returned it within 14 days!
