The transition from the Xiaomi 11T Pro is very noticeable to me. I also had the Xiaomi 15 Ultra to try out and I can say that if you're switching from this generation, the transition is worthwhile and not that significant. It is only worthwhile if you are shooting 4k 60fps video that is longer than 15-20 minutes. Xiaomi 17 Ultra's cooling is on a whole other level and keeps the phone cooler for much longer, even after an hour it doesn't drop fps. The third-party camera app is a little worse, but the result in terms of photo and video quality is obviously still better. It's a shame that for such an expensive flagship, the default camera app doesn't allow for options such as the Black Magic Camera.
Camera
Large display
Shape, holds well in the hand
Great cooling compared to the last generation
Hyper OS 3
The mechanical part of the camera rattles slightly, which is logical and acceptable
One would expect more things in the package

Xiaomi 17 Ultra is not just a phone, it's basically a professional camera with a calling function. This year's model relies on brutal performance and Leica optics, which are currently unrivalled in the mobile world. Design and Display At first glance, the giant circular camera module, which is now complemented by a mechanical ring for zoom and aperture control, catches the eye. Thanks to new materials, the body is lighter (218 g) and thinner (8.3 mm) than its predecessor. It is dominated by a flat 6.9" LTPO OLED panel with a brightness of up to 3,500 nits, which guarantees perfect readability even in direct March sunlight. Camera: Revolution in your pocket The main attraction is the improved 1" Light Fusion 1050L sensor, which produces images with a natural depth effect without digital artifacts. The real technological treat, however, is the 200MPx periscopic telephoto lens with variable focal length (75-100 mm). This allows for a smooth optical zoom that is incredibly sharp. Performance and Endurance At the heart is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, which combined with HyperOS 3 runs absolutely uncompromisingly. Finally, the 6,000 mAh battery keeps up with the demanding hardware and can be recharged in minutes thanks to 90W charging. Verdict: If mobile photography is a priority for you and you don't mind the premium price tag, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is currently the best choice on the market. You want me to compare the technical specifications of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra with its biggest rival, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. I switched from the Samsung S 22 ultra and the big difference is in video stabilization and processor performance. Overall satisfaction.

I bought it as a replacement for the Xiaomi 14 and it met my expectations. The main reason for the purchase was the phone's cameras. The green color is amazing but I must admit I was a little afraid of the color but unnecessarily. The whole phone is really snappy.

This is my second Xiaomi phone, the choice was clear thanks to the camera and the tweaks from Leica, the photos are a level up from the iPhone 17 Pro, the price is also better and with Xiaomi promo and giveaways there was no reason to hesitate.

I'm switching from the Redmi Note 8 Pro, so the differences are quite noticeable - especially in terms of camera quality, sunlight readability and smoothness. I was pleasantly surprised that the phone is lightweight (for how rugged it is). My only criticism at the moment is that the cover does not protect the photoconstruction area sufficiently in my opinion.
display beautifully legible even in direct light

I switched to the 17 Ultra from the Xiaomi 10T Pro and the jump is huge. A beautifully smooth system with no minor glitches. The display is crisp and clear with beautiful colours. I've tried playing Fortnite as well and the phone hardly melts at all. The cooling is perfect. Listening to music or YouTube videos, I was pleasantly surprised how great the music sounds. The sound is clear even at the highest volume and bass lovers will really enjoy it. I highly recommend the mobile phone.
Beautiful display
Fast system without chopping
Battery life
Photos and video
Great to hold
Excellent sunlight legibility
Fast charging
Great performance in games
Clear sound and great bass
I miss the notification LED, but it has an always-on display

The phone with gifts provides amazing value, in my opinion it is perfect in every aspect except the software where xiaomi has been very lame since hyperOS. It's not the worst on the market, but it has a lot to improve and add back options from the MiUI days.
HyperRGB display gives each pixel all 3 lights
Cameras
Speakers sound good even between flags
Beautiful and practical design
Fast charging
Cannot switch to combined pull down menu for notifications and control panel
Cannot hide gesture bar
6000 mAh versus CN version with 6800
