So far, I haven't noticed any major flaws in it. It's super fast, shoots very decently, long battery life - I only let the battery charge to 80% and still have around 40% at the end of the day with reasonable usage. The only minor minus for me is that I couldn't get the status icon of the connected wireless headphones and their battery into the status bar - it's only visible after the drop down. I'd also like it if the corners of the phone/display had a smaller radius, it kind of fakes the actual size of the phone that way, and I definitely wouldn't call it compact despite the 6.3in diagonal due to that huge roundness, but that's how almost every smartphone has it these days.

I switched to the Pixel 8a for the reason that I was getting annoyed with the slow charging and the disastrous fingerprint reader. I don't use the haptic response, but at the beginning, when it was on, it was quite surprising. For the price I got the phone and with the perks I got for it (redemption bonus, coffee maker for review, google AI Pro for 3 months. ), it is a very advantageous purchase. Absolute satisfaction is with the fingerprint reader, it works perfectly and extremely fast. I quickly liked the design too, I bought it in green - very hilarious, I quickly got used to the edgier shape of the phone, minimal bezels and the rear camera island is fine when holding the phone it rests on your finger. I'm not particularly a fanatic about photography, but the cameras here don't impress much. pixel 8a was very similar, but at almost half the price.
