I reached for the 14T because my retired MI9 was showing its age. And I have to say I'm glad I reached for the 14T. It is bigger but also lighter and sits comfortably in the hands. The big difference in performance was felt immediately. Very pleasing 12gb ram and 144hz HDR AMOLED, which also supports Dolby Vision. Maybe I'll finally give mobile gaming a chance. The thin bezels look perfect, a joy to look at such a screen. Both in design and performance. A 5,000mAh flashlight, and a full charge in less than an hour? Yes, please! The battery life is great, a nice change from my previous device where I had to hunt for a charger after half a day. I haven't had a chance (time) to test the AI tweaks in detail yet, but I'm definitely more of a fan than a detractor. From the ones I've already had a chance to try: The 'circle to search' feature is a nice practice from Google Lens. We'll see how Google Gemini holds up, I'm not dismissing it yet, but I need more time. I will definitely use the live translator, especially in a work environment. Other AI tools focused on creativity and productivity are 'nice to have' but nothing groundbreaking. HyperOS is a big step up from MIUI, which I've struggled with so far and for me, thumbs up. Prostredies and seems much more nimble, bloatware natomje not as bad as in older models. Well, a Leica. I'm not a photographer, but from what my amateur eye can see after a few test shots I'm extremely satisfied. I had trouble seeing the difference between vibrant and authentic modes, but the quality is unquestionable. The ability to record video in 4k60 is great and so is the ability to remove unwanted element from photos using AI. The wife will be delighted!

After 5 years of using the Xiaomi Mi 9T, I decided to go with this brand again because of its reliability. During the entire period of use, there has been no malfunction or system glitch, everything still works as it should. I believe the 14T will be a great successor just for its great specs.
