The power cable met my expectations exactly.
Bought to the external drive A-DATA 250 GB because of the great instability of data transfer, with the original cable it happened to me, more than often, that it stopped powering the device during data copying.
This cable solved my problem the drive can be in operation for several hours without any problem.
There is no need to plug in the auxiliary power cable, the device started up and worked smoothly after the main cable was plugged in.
Ideal cable length.

After plugging in an external drive, it will keep the drive powered for about 5 min. Then the disk disconnects and starts detecting again. But then the connection is established and the second disk connection does not fail anymore. With another cable, the disk did not connect, so I see the fault in this cable.
