It doesn't have a subscription, but it doesn't offer anything extra compared to the Oura besides measuring blood oxygenation (I have an Oura ring 2nd gen without a subscription). The battery doesn't even last two days - probably a defective piece (bought as a new one), anyway Alza "guarantees" that the goods are OK.
