The sound of the hair dryer is kind of higher pitched, squeaky, annoying, but after a while I got used to it. For me, an unsuitable hair dryer for thick wavy hair. The diffuser cannot lift the hair at the roots, the attachment falls off. It's nice that it has 5 temperature modes, but even with the least warm air, I can't last more than 2 seconds with the diffuser at my roots. I'm coming back.
