Excellent for both playing and working.
User settings (changing DPI etc. ) is loaded with the application running. If you change PC or user, you have to download and set up everything again.
The cheaper Yenkee mouse probably stored this information in its internal memory and I never needed the app after the first setup.

The mouse is great, but only for someone who really wants to take advantage of the multitude of buttons. If I didn't use them, they'd be quite a nuisance.
