If you are the type of person who has a smile on your face after throwing a dime and chooses your favorite “drink“ at Delikomat, my review will probably not be very relevant to you.
But if your ears are torn when the cafe / restaurant waiter asks you if you want an espresso, whether you have a drink or a small one, and you' re just a little coffee naked, then you need to be smart before you make a mistake and get a coffee maker.
It was my 7th coffee machine (after the warranty I sell, because consumption is really high in our country) and I must say that I have perhaps not been so disappointed.
I have experience with various types (capsule, automatic and lever - in a set with a grinder) and the price / performance ratio was clearly the worst purchase model.
I take it that miracles cannot be expected from an automatic coffee machine, but we have an older model from the Magnifica set at work and the difference is unbelievable (crema, taste and intensity of coffee) If you have read so far and I have made you happy, despite the negatives I have mentioned, I will give you simple advice.
Get a capsule from Nespresso or Dolce Gusto, you will save about 6,000 and the resulting product will be exactly the same, if not better.
I' m going to try to make a complaint, because this is an unacceptable result in this price range.

Compared to Krups at the same price level, it is better for maintenance and most importantly you can easily (user-friendly) clean the brewing unit and the area behind the grinder (my old Krups left just because the space behind the grinder became clogged, the repair was very expensive and complicated, because then you have to really disassemble the coffee machine into XX screws, disconnect the cables - it' s a job for a few hours). I was still considering Phillips, but given the negative user reviews here on failure, I preferred De Longhi.

possibility of real proper maintenance (unlike other coffee machines you can easily take out the brewing unit or get to the area behind the grinder and clean it)
comfortable use (fast, quiet - within automatic coffee machines)
it flushes itself - when switched on and off - keeps the pipes clean
hugely adjustable range of grains per cup and fineness of grinding
the option to purchase a water filter if you do not have your own filter built into the kitchen
looks nice
you can define the volume of water only on 2 levels (smaller / larger), not as large a range as e. g. in Krups from 20 to 160ml
the largest amount of water per 1 cup is estimated at about 100-120ml, it will not work more (I do not mind, but there are people who drink 200ml, so then they have to squeeze 2x)
