The replacement battery lasted about 1 year. It was gradually losing capacity and inflating. Alza refunded the money without any problems as part of the claim and I ordered a new one. I recharged the battery after it was fully discharged as recommended by the manufacturer, so far it is holding capacity, so I will hope that it was just a defective piece.
