It hasn't even been a year of use and I already regret buying it. A few months after purchase, the lid of the kettle started to jam (from time to time it could not be opened at all). Now the top (plastic) part of the lid is falling off because what should hold it has broken off. I wouldn't complain if I somehow broke it myself, but it's a kettle, it stands still and boils water a few times a day, that's it. I don't recommend it.

I have had the kettle for a year and so far no problem, the temperature control is fine. It takes quite a long time to heat to boiling, even with half full. What annoys me most is the lack of a strainer

I absolutely don't understand why the kettle doesn't have a strainer. If I knew that (I didn't even think they made it without it), I'd definitely not go for it. Once you start to get limescale, you have no way of catching it

The beeping can't be turned off, but it's not so loud that it's disturbing. After 17 months on warranty, not heating water (almost a benefit, better than 2 months out of warranty. )

Steam permeates the lid, it's not perfectly sealed, and I've even gotten scalded lightly a few times when I've had my hand too high on the handle or left my thumb on the display
