It's the very first coffee maker I ever owned, so it may not be defective, I just don't know how to use it. The water container is a little smaller than what I would need, but that's not the product's fault. I make tea (I fill the water through the nozzle), otherwise it still holds 2-3 coffees. For those confused - 1 coffee is 30ml, large is 60ml with the fact that it can be adjusted to (I think) 60ml and 90ml. The warming surface doesn't work, there is so little heat that nothing heats up. Glass or mug height maximum 14cm, rather less, and can fit two mugs side by side. The coffee maker sounds like a capsule coffee maker as far as noise is concerned (for me the sound is perfectly fine and maybe a little noisier than a kettle). For a beginner like me, I recommend it!

The coffee maker is overall a big disappointment. It rattles terribly when making coffee until the cup falls off, so better to hold it. The foaming nozzle drips water without us ever using it. The brewed coffee has almost no foam, so the 15 bar pressure that the manufacturer states will not be anything special. The anti-drip system is also broken. The only thing that is a plus of the coffee maker is that it has a nice look.
