The jump from my first-gen PROs is huge. I was expecting them to be better, but not this much better.

I've been using the AirPods for about twenty days now and the hedonic adaptation effect has kicked in. The first few days there was a huge wow factor, but now I take them completely for granted. They work so flawlessly that I've forgotten what headphones I used before them. If you're hesitant because of the price, the investment only hurts once, but the comfort will last much longer (I hope).
I bought these without even owning an iPhone, I only have a work one and this has made me decide to say goodbye to Android.
The ANC is great, in the office I can't hear my colleagues laughing and I can concentrate
The design is simply premium and looks great on everyone.
I very quickly forgot how much money they actually cost.
A USB-C cable could have been included in the package
You definitely need a case, otherwise you'll get scratches all over the body.

Everything you expect from Apple earphones, the sound is a bit better compared to the Pro 2 (I'd say primarily because of the material of the ear tips). But other than that, it's not a massive revolution in my opinion. Everything works as it should, pairing is ultra-fast, and the head gestures are a nice feature. The ANC is superb, transparency I'd say is the same as the Pro 2. I probably won't use the heart rate measurement much, but it's a nice extra to have.
The shape is a little harder for me to get a grip on so far, but that's just a matter of getting used to it, and they sit more securely in my ears. I was worried about a poor-quality case, the earphones rattling inside, etc., but none of that has happened (yet). The lid opens with a nice stiffness, just like with other earphones, and nothing is rattling anywhere.

They sound beautiful
Yes, perfect
Do yours also sort of rattle in your ear when you wear them and walk around? As if there's something loose inside the headphones… in both of them.
